The Cops get a Porche and then Pilots get a Microsoft Floptop to fly planes with....
Breaking Wind again...

The cops in NSW get a Porche 911 Careerer....
Well so fucking what?
One of my mates, his mildly hotted up 302 V8 - A bit of free breathing - by some porting, cams, extractors and a better carb - would leave the Porch for dead on the straights...
Absolutely wipe it out.....
The Porch's are not that impressive for anything, other than a bullshit price tag.
Though the Porch, he said, was faster around the corners...
And this - this is fucking horrible...
Running an aircraft full of people, with Microsoft's piece of shit hardware and software.
I don't like nasty irony - and I don't want to see bad things happen, but if only to spite Microsoft, in a fantasy kind of a way, I'd like to see the aircraft come plummeting out of the sky - and the people on the ground go to the flaming wreck and say, "What happened?" - "We don't know yet, the Microsoft Floptop did a blue screen of death and everyone is still waiting for it to reboot...."
I would not have Microsoft anywhere near a fucking house brick - much less an aircraft.

Almost one year ago, Delta gave the go-ahead for its pilots’ flight bags to be replaced by the Surface Pro 2, essentially turning the tablet into an Electronic Flight Bag (EFB). Fast-forward to today, and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and its European counterpart, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), have given the go-ahead for the Surface Pro 3 to replace pilots’ flight bags, Microsoft announced.
The approval includes a special mount, designed for the Surface Pro 3, that will allow the tablet to connect with the plane’s computer system. The connection lets the Surface Pro 3 receive real-time data, such as weather, wind, and turbulence, among other things. The pilot would have the option to remove the Surface Pro 3 from the mount and take it home at the end of the day.
Microsoft’s announcement also included new software specifically built for pilots. The application, called FliteDeck Pro, allows pilots to compare their charts with real-time weather and gate information.
The FAA’s approval for replacing flight bags with Surface Pro 3 units should be a boon to airlines, as Delta undoubtedly saved millions of dollars per year in fuel and associated costs when it started using the Surface Pro 2. Now, it’s up to the airlines if they want to implement

I just get visions of this - Microsoft controlling an aircraft?
