Aldi and Aldi Mobile - The Customer Service Sucks

Image
Yes the managers of Aldi serve up a scumfest of mobile phone scamming. All cleverly sugar coated with bullshit to suck the consumer dry. As the "$35 Unlimited Plan" goes from: $35 for unlimited calls and 5 Gig of internet data, to 1 hour 20 minutes of call time per day and 2.5 Gig of data; and now they are dropping it to: 40 minutes of call time per day and 1 Gig of data - all for the same "great value" of $35. So they saying that the scum sucking morons who run Telstra - it's now costing FIVE times as much to provide  This means that the people running Aldi are just RIPPING people off with their scummy Mobile plans and their scummy customer service.  I don't think people in foreign call centres, or Merkins etc., have a monopoly on greed and stupidity..... Australians have an outstanding capacity to deliver totally clueless, wilfully idiotic and cash grabbing customer service. High on the "Dumb Fuck" radar for the last 12 months, has been the staff...

These people ARE scam artists.... Unit F3, 3-29 Birnie Ave (closest entry is off Bachell Ave), Lidcombe NSW 2141 Bought one of the Das Keyboards from them for about $170 (including freight etc) - but these are so badly designed that the key switches, are more or less wide open to filling up with dust and jamming. The "DAS KEYBOARD" (or The "The Keyboard") is an interesting piece of both "allegedly" good quality switches, piss poor design, misleading advertising (outright bullshit) and useless customer support. The pro-model. The ultimate model. They do use the apparently remarkable "Cherry" (brand) key switches, who's main claim to fame is that although gold plating can be made remarkably thin and the contact area is remarkably small, the switch contacts are gold plated - which makes them corrosion and arc resistant, and they are rated to 50 million cycles - or so they claim - you know, "press any key" + "unpress" = one cycle. This is their main claim to fame - the longevity of the key switches. "Yes the Das Keyboard (by implication) will last as long as the switches it is composed of - that's 50 million presses of each of the key switches..." But is that the actual contacts are claimed to be rated for 50M cycles? Or ...
