We they have this habit of suspending your account, for system errors; and

For not being able to answer questions to do with your account THEN AND THERE, with information that is usually stuffed in a filing cabinet, as one is not prone to driving around with the filing cabinet in the front seat, and rifling through it, while one is driving - and wanting to do the budget balance and shopping list - in the 1/2 hour or so before you get to the shops...

And I am only after the balance... not all the info to go with my own account...

And then they insist on demanding that you drive to the nearest branch - like 200+ K away.... just to identify yourself - And this is just NOT fucking on.....

So anyway - after several days of savage infighting - of non compliance with the stupidity of them and their system.....

This is how it goes so far:

Probably on Monday or Tuesday last week, I decided that I don't want to really employ the people running Bank of Bullshit anymore, and an old aquaintance  suggested that I move from the international criminal syndicates to something a bit more ethical.

AND so I did.

Filled out the forms online, and "Ohhh missed a field" Gotta fill than in before I can proceed.... Fine all dandy now - "Click" proceed - all done and a friendly representative should call me back within 24 hours.

Next day - by 2pm - no call back.

So I rang... Reference number - all that shit.

Person Number 1. "And were you after a normal account?" 

 

"No I was hoping for a intellectually handicapped account, even a mildly retarded one would be nice."

 

Hung up on.

Person Number 2.

Got the, "No record of it - Ohhh if there is a mistake in the forms, then they get deleted, and you have to go and do it all again." Said it.

 

I did not tell them about the accidental omission and it's correction, but they did jump into an assumption about it as their excuse for deleting it later..... 

 

Nice of them to call me or even gutlessly email me, and tell me that, they deleted the online paper work and to try for a round two...

 

 

Making assumptions appears to be the default excuse for all employment contracts going missing. 

 

And it is an employment contract - as I am actually hiring them and they earn their wages from the diligent and resourceful handling of my money.

 

It's not and it has never been a case of crawling to a bank type place and kissing their arses with the, "Oh please global parasites, may I open an account with you?"

So to continue the conversation.......

"Oh no they all get deleted." said it.

"Well undelete it" said I.

"Oh we can't" said it.

"Well get someone who can."

"It's the system - you can't change the system" said it.

"Systems are created by people and all parts of all systems can be accessed and modified - so get someone who can access and modify it, to undelete the application."

"Oh I can't do that - you will just have to go back online and fill it all out again" said it.

"Oh no I won't - it was done right the first time - it's your shitty system that needs fixing up." Said I.

Excuses, side stepping, more excuses, more side stepping

Ende Result - Someone who can and is able to, was going to call me back.

2 days later - still no call back.

 

I doubt that computer records are deleted, I also believe that they have to be kept for a minimum period.

Ramp the fucking issue from the Politically Correct Clueless Cock Sucking Clerks to a Manager type.....

So Ball A is into Court B.....

By standing up for yourself and challenging the systemically stupid and their stupid systems, you actually learn more and I think you learn how valuable your life is, by the elimination of stupid cunts who take 30 minutes to deal with a 30 second "yes or no" question.


I always liked this character, for both facets - for having to deal with useless and unhelpful fucking people and for the "get to the fucking point" lucidity...
