Altech Computers Corporation Pty Ltd = Thieves and Liars.
Got a bit tired of the bottom dollar Power Supply Units going tits up and occasionally taking the mother board with them...
So I went and bought an Antec PSU - because they said they were quality and they came with a 5 year warranty.

Antec Neo HE products include a variety of power supplies in 380, 430, 500 and 550 watt capacities. Neo HE 500 and 550 watt power supplies are also SLI-Ready. Applicable to Antec's Neo HE and TruePower Trio PSUs, they've just issued out an announcement which makes light of a now extended 5 year warranty slapped on'em for extra peace of mind.
Picked up the new power supply about 2 or 3 months after the Jan 11 Floods in Victoria.
Chaos reigned....
And anyway - the unit would from time to time, make faint crackling noises which I assumed was a wee bit of high frequency power leaking out of the internals...
And then one day it just stopped working - about 4 or 5 months ago.
Finally got around to the warranty issues and they went like this.

Hi I sent the package off with the dead power supply in it, about 2 weeks ago.
Can you tell me what is it's status and when I can expect a replacement to arrive?
Regards
