The bludging bastards of telephony, Telstra and other parasitic purveyors of the copper connected crap - who gouge on every issue, were what turned me off the land line for ever.

I mean if you shop around, you can get a mobile phone plan, with unlimited calls and 4 Gig of data, for about the same price as the rental cost only, of a land line.

So with Telstra, $40 per month, every month, gets you plugged in land line only and with other companies mobile plans, you get unlimited calls and the internet.

Add in all the bullshit of dealing with a phone company every time you move home, or facing the crap when they gouge you, and nickel and dime you to death or fuck up your bill - leaving the land lines in their lap starts to look like a good deal.

It does not happen often, but it happens enough, that on the contact us form of a number of websites, they INSIST* on you, providing a land line* number, in the compulsory* web form field.*

You know that little area that says "All items marked with an astrisk, MUST be filled in".

Like they ASK for this information - when:

a) A reply by email would be fine - minus address, phone numbers, title, job description, reason for contacting them (along with the issue/s that you list later), etc.

 b) A great number of people no longer have land lines or use them.


And the stupid cunts that get right up my arse - do the following

c) They insist that you fill the form in - and if you don't, you cannot proceed to the next part of their website - or send the inquiry to them.

d) And worst of all - to cap the bullshit off, most of the ones that do this STUPID shit, also have phone number validity checking to verify the area code and number or it may be anti spammer filtering.....



And this is why it shits me:

 So the dumb cunts that are designing the webforms - that insist on providing ones LAND LINE  number, are NOT PAYING ATTENTION.

And the idiot fucks who own the websites, are not either.......


There are SO many people who no longer have or use, land line numbers.

HSBC Bank Australia Limited - a bunch of fucking arseholes.

My Review of HSBC in Australia: Firstly - to make this whole article easier to digest... The first bit is me basically being insane - "This is a BAD place to be doing business with". The second bit is about the management of HSBC being an outright pack of cunts, involved in laundering squillions of cocaine $$$$$ from Mexico via Australia, and back to the USA.... Lenovo and IBM - the Great Motherboard Replacement Scam

I have one of the Lenovo G570 Laptops. And this is really BAD. The first one is that the management of Lenovo have done a deal with Microsoft to install an Operating System on the hard drive, and they claim that allocating a "special area" of the hard drive for recovery purposes, is a solution in case of "some kind of OS / Hard Drive problem - but they do not give you a copy of the OS on a DVD, to reinstall it, in case the OS crashed or a new HDD was needed etc.... This means that IF your operating system corrupts, your going to be facing a HUGE and BAD uphill battle to get a copy of YOUR operating system from Lenovo. No doing on the spot brain surgery on your own lap top by reinstalling the OS... No. This comes down to you not getting a 20c DVD with your operating system on it, Vs. hours fighting with idiots on the phone and days and or weeks waiting around for the DVD to arrive - if ever.
