I have a friend who comes out with some surprising comments...

Image
This friend came out in a blurt of real "Had a fucking gut full" about "pimply faced know nothings, that get jobs requiring a technical degree of knowledge, proficiency and experience, with the attitude "Aww I don't know, don't care and it's not my job." kind of bullshit." So how this comes about..... Clueless people raise clueless children, who get processed by a clueless education system, and then land jobs with clueless employers, who don't screen them or train them..... Nope - just throw them in the deep end. And we get clueless customer service. After talking to about 10 fucking clueless people in Auto Accessory stores / tool suppliers etc., etc., etc...in a row, you know people who have never had to read a book on making or repairing anything - and then doing it -  After 5 minutes of going around in circles, I asked one totally fucking clueless girl, who had NO idea about ANYTHING at all - I said to her, "Can I talk to someone

Are You Eating Plastic for Dinner? These videos made me feel sick.

Published on Oct 23, 2014 This novel 3-D animation dives into how our consumption of plastics has affected marine species deaths and increased human health risks, and it explores possible long-term solutions. Motion graphic artist Andreas Tanner uses his compelling infographics to educate viewers on all aspects of plastic production, consumption, and breakdown. “Due to particular currents in the Pacific Ocean, a new continent has been born: a mass of plastic waste the size of Europe.” Tanner also offers ideas for alternative and sustainable buying habits to reduce our reliance on plastic. Baboon Boobs - Chicks with small tits.

Image
In exiting the shower this morning, with my mind firmly set upon a chick I do like - with really small tits, and I began to think how tit size and shape - some of the time, with some people, is quite similar, across species. Hence my new invention, the term, "Baboon Boobs". e.g.  Next entry: T-Rex Tits. I will let you figure this one out for yourself.

Japan’s Softbank to Invest $20 Billion in Solar-Energy Projects in India

Image
While our retarded prime minister, Tony Abbott puts shit on this    The rest of the world passes us by. http://time.com/3931551/softbank-solar-energy-power-india-japan-climate-change/ Japan’s Softbank to Invest $20 Billion in Solar-Energy Projects in India "Twice the sunshine, half the cost" The Japanese telecoms giant Softbank has announced plans to invest around $20 billion in solar-energy-power projects in India, joining forces with the country’s Bharti Enterprises and Taiwan’s Foxconn as the Indian government targets a massive expansion in the country’s solar output from some 3 gigawatts today to 100 gigawatts by 2022. Announcing Softbank’s plans, the company’s chief executive Masayoshi Son said, “India can become probably the largest country for solar energy,” Reuters reports. “India has two times the sunshine of Japan. The cost of construction of the solar park is half of Japan. Twice the sunshine, half the cost, that means four times the efficiency,” Son said. The Sof

'Epidemic of food riots' could trigger society collapse by 2040, warn scientists

First lets have a look at what is going on in Australia in regards to homelessness and going hungry. This about par for the course as far as reports go. https://www.foodbank.org.au/hunger-in-australia/the-facts/ Are there really hungry people in Australia? Yes there are, but hunger is largely a hidden social problem and many victims suffer in silence. Each year two million people rely on food relief – around half of them are children. That’s one in every ten Australians in need. Despite almost two decades of economic growth nearly a quarter of Australians still live in low economic resource households and 10% live in actual poverty. The prices of essentials like food, health, education, housing, utilities and transport have climbed so much in recent years that people who are already struggling are susceptible to sudden bill shock and financial disadvantage. The current economic climate means people are turning to charity who would never have dreamed of seeking s

Uprating the issue of being a retard.

An upgrade or an adjunct of, and to, my initial post on the subject of being a fucking retard. http://suker-punch.blogspot.com.au/2015/02/i-have-redefined-definnition-of-retarded.html A fucking retard: OK assuming one wants to figure out 9 x17. Well mentally one can go (9x10) + (9x7) = 90 + 63 = 153 Or (10 x 17) - 17 = 170 - 17 = 153 Or  (3 x 3) x (2.5 x 4) + (3 x 3) x (2 x 3.5) Or (27/3 x Sqrt 289) - (-36 +    Etc., etc., etc., We shall not proceed to inverting time. And some people will never get it. 4 oranges - take away 2 oranges, how many oranges are left? It does not mean that any particular person is smarter or dumber - if you are doing your very best, that is all that matters. What makes a person a fucking retard is how they approach life. For instance: Say a person from a country - pick any one, with any language; and for two years they go and live in another country - the only issue to understand is that this second country - the people there speak a totally different languag

Toxic Tony (Abbott) and Climate Change - Everyone "gets it", including the Australian Defence Forces.

This is a good article - but like much journalism, it lacks the links to the source reports. I have thoughtfully included them. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-06-22/report-warns-defence-failing-to-address-climate-change/6563430 Climate change: Longest Conflict Report warns Defence Force underprepared Lateline By Margot O'Neill and Brigid Andersen Australia's failure to address climate change will cause a significant national security threat, according to a report by the Centre for Policy Development. The report, called The Longest Conflict: Australia's Climate Security Challenge, says Australia's Defence Force is underprepared for climatic events like extreme heat, rising sea levels and more frequent natural disasters. It warns of escalating regional tensions over food and growing numbers of internally displaced people and refugees. The former head of the ADF, retired Admiral Chris Barrie, launched the report and blamed politics for the failure to take the issue seriou

Jurassic Park - Stupidity as a suspension builder?

Image
They way over did it. Movies have people in them, paid to pretend they are someone they are not, in a situation that does not exist, participating in the telling of fabulous tales. Without getting overly intelligent about the whole thing, the Jurassic Park movies are a good "suck in" as one gets into a "suspension of critical faculties" mindset, and starts going, "Ohhhhh noooooo - that is going to attract the dinosaurs, and they are going to eat you..." commentary. The problem is that the use of the "dumb fuck" routine, by the actors, as a way to generate tension and drama, is not only the mainstay method of producing tension and drama, but it's also the use of exceedingly STUPID "dumb fuck" characters - in amongst all the very worst times and places that one can demonstrate it, well they are doing it..... In Jurassic Park (01), the dumb girl with the torch, in the car, that attracts the T Rex - and every one tells her to turn it of

Turning the Tide on Bomb Trains

http://www.counterpunch.org/2015/06/18/turning-the-tide-on-bomb-trains/ by STEPHEN QUIRKE Two months ago I reported on the plan to build propane export facilities at the Port of Portland. This report investigated bomb trains and the blast zone around the proposed terminal, dug into Pembina’s operations in Canada, and reported on their heavy participation in both tar sands extraction and fracking in Western Canada. Much has happened since this last report. On April 7th the Swinomish tribe in Washington filed a lawsuit against BNSF oil trains. On April 9th Portland’s Planning and Sustainability Commission (PSC) voted in favor of Pembina’s pipeline, raising howls of opposition from the crowd. On May 6th the Tories of Alberta were unseated after 44 years of rule – kicked out by a wave of opposition to the fossil fuel industry that finally crashed along with oil prices, with the socialist New Democratic Party now in charge promising to implement the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenou

The pope says, "Tones - and your full of it"

Pope: "Based upon scientific evidence - climate change / pollution / unrestrained greed = turn it around or we are gonna spiral down a shithole into oblivion forever." Tony Abbott: "Climate change is bullshit." Pope: "Tones - and your full of it."

Jesus Fuck.....

It's been one of those days where I have had to deal with people - like about 10 in a row, owners of business's, managers of large industrial wholesalers, sales staff etc., etc.,etc., all of whom have worked in these industries for long standing periods; who are totally fucking clueless about their own product lines... They never READ the product specs from the manufacturers, no idea how it's made, what is in it, the limitations, or how to use it.... Just stuff the till, load the trucks - and that's it. They give everything except a yes or no answer, to a yes or no question.... and they will give 1/2 an hour of bullshit, before they get around to staying they don't have it stock and can't order it in... And they so dislike being called out on their bullshit - "So is that a yes or a no? Do you have it in stock, and if you don't can you order it in?" Cunts that are so dense, that you have to connect the dots for them. "Errrr what?" This is

Florida Supreme Court weighing in on solar energy

Install a lot of solar - sell the power directly to your neighbours - piss the corrupt power companies off completely. A 10A lead over the fence to their battery banks. Simple. http://www.baynews9.com/content/news/baynews9/news/article.html/content/news/articles/bn9/2015/6/16/supreme_court_solar_.html TAMPA --  Florida's Supreme Court is weighing in on solar energy. Groups are battling over a ballot initiative that would open up the market. Supporters want the state to allow people to sell solar power, and they are trying to get the issue on the November 2016 ballot. Right now, utility companies are the only ones that can sell excess solar power in Florida. Learn more about the proposed ballot initiative "If they could sell it to their neighbor, the neighbor would get a cheaper power bill and the user who put the panels in would have the benefit of another income stream," said Doug McRee, president of First Housing in Tampa.
